Throughout our science topic of materials, we have been learning all about the properties of materials and how these make them suitable for certain jobs.  We have tried to change the shape of different materials by bending, twisting, squashing & stretching.

We also began an investigation into the best material for a 'dog coat' to keep a dog warm as well as dry when out walking.  We used pipettes and the same quantity of water on different fabrics to see which were the most suitable.
