Rode Heath Evacuees Film Premiere and DVD
On 3rd October 2005, the junior children dressed up as World War II evacuees and, together with parents and teachers, went on a trip to Foxfield Railway Station, in Blythe Bridge, to re-enact the mass evacuation of children which took place in September 1939.
A DVD containing a film of the overall experience was created and successfully premiered at the school in November. Over 350 people attended and all 100 copies of the DVD were sold.
