Schools Direct Partnership

The East Cheshire Schools Direct Partnership ‘ Primary Partners’ are delighted to be working in collaboration with Staffordshire University to recruit applicants for the 2020 -2021  School Direct Primary Programme. The four schools within the partnership comprise of Cledford Primary, Elworth CE Primary, Rode Heath Primary School and Scholar Green Primary.

Cledford Primary School is a two form entry primary school that opened in 2009. The Executive Headteacher is currently supporting the work of another Cheshire East primary school and shares her time between both schools. Recent awards include; Inclusion Quality Mark, Eco-Schools and Healthy Schools Award and the prestigious Arts Mark Gold Award. www.cledford.cheshire.sch.uk

 

 

Elworth CE Primary school is a one and a half form entry school with 311 children on roll. As a church of England controlled school it has very close links with the parish of St Peter's and a distinctly Christian ethos. The school has undergone recent change both externally and internally and has excellent resources including: an astro turf, swimming pool, two halls, an IT suite and outstanding outdoor early year's provision. Senior teachers include a Master in Maths leader, an ECAW trained leader, an experienced IT leader and a highly qualified SENCO.

Rode Heath Primary School is a single form entry school with 204 children on roll set in the heart of a village location. Recently the school has been nationally recognised for its outstanding work in primary science and has been shortlisted for the prestigious Rolls-Royce Science Prize, 2015. Last academic year, the school featured in a best document for Physical Education entitled, Mission X. Furthermore, the school embraced STEM education and was the first school in the North West to introduce 3D printing to primary aged children. Currently, the school is awaiting publication of a second best practice document entitled: Out of this World: Rode Heath Primary School

Scholar Green Primary School is an ever-increasing school nurturing 174 pupils at this moment in time. Our school is an eco-friendly Green Flag School which recently won Junior Recycling Officer of the Year 2015 for Cheshire East. Additionally we hold a Sainsbury's Gold Mark award school for sport and have also attained the Primary Science Quality Mark. At Scholar Green, we are very proud of our curriculum and enrichment activities which we offer to all of our pupils including both domestic and European residentials, educational visits and an extensive extra-curricular programme. Outdoor learning features heavily in all areas of our broad and balanced curriculum providing our pupils with opportunities to experience learning both in and out of the classroom environment.
