Year 6 Remote Learning 2020 - 2021
I am really pleased to be working at Rode Heath Primary School teaching Year 6 and being part of the wider community. I have been teaching in Cheshire for ten years and enjoy creating new and exciting learning opportunities.
I love watching and taking part in a variety of sporting activities. In my spare time I enjoy playing football, tennis and golf. One of my favourite places to play golf is in Dumfries and Galloway, near to Kirkudbright, even though I lose a lot of golf balls!
I have been at Rode Heath school for over 20 years and before this volunteered for many years when my two sons attended the school.
I love working with all the children here and watching them grow. I have many interests outside of school and absolutely love sport of all kinds, particularly supporting LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB.
Dear Parents & Carers,
From Monday 11th January
In this term, we will be exploring our dynamic and amazing planet. Lessons will consist of exciting and engaging content from the entire curriculum. To help explore this theme, the books being used this term are: Journey to the Centre of the Earth (Classic Starts), Destination Planet Earth, Under Earth/Water and Survivors amongst others.
Please see the bottom of this page for our remote learning timetable. PLEASE refer to this as this will form the structure of our weekly lessons and will set out when and how we are teaching/ providing activities for the children to complete.
We have also included a See Saw parent guide and a video guide, too. I will upload all of the children's work via See Saw and will use teams as our platform for live learning. The teams link can be found on the timetable document and below:
Please carry on using Timestable rockstars, Ed Shed and Renaissance to quiz on books that you have read at home.
PE will be on Tuesday afternoons.

We hope you stay safe and well.
